चंडीगढ़ (25 जुलाई)। जनचेतना पार्टी के अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री विनोद शर्मा ने जिला रेवाड़ी के हौद छिल्लर में २नवंबर 1984 को 32 सिखों को जिंदा जलाकर मारने के मामले में सरकार द्वारा गठित आयोग को तुरंत भंग कर इस केस की सीबीआई जांच कराने की मांग की है, ताकि पीडि़त सिख परिवारों को न्याय मिल सके।
हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा को शुक्रवार को पत्र लिख कर विनोद शर्मा ने कहा है कि जिला रेवाड़ी के हौद छिल्लर में उस दौरान निहत्थे सिखों को जिंदा जला दिया था तथा उनकी संपति को भी बूरी तरह से बबार्द कर दिया था। तीस सालों से ये सिख परिवार न्याय की मांग के लिए दर-दर की ठोकरे खा रहे हैं, लेकिन उनको आज तक सरकार न्याय नहीं दिला पाई तथा इस मामले के दोषियों पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गई है।
विनोद शर्मा ने कहा कि शुरू में इस मामले की जांच स्थानीय पुलिस को सौंपी, पुलिस के पास दोषियों के खिलाफ पर्याप्त सबुत और गवाह होने के बावजूद भी पुलिस ने दोषियों के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की, जिन लोगों ने इस निर्मम काम को अंजाम दिया, पुलिस को पता होने के बावजूद भी उनकी शिनाख्त करना तक भी जरूरी नहीं समझा गया और वे सरेआम घूमते रहे और आखिर में पुलिस ने इस मामले को जानबूझ कर बंद कर दिया।
जनचेतना पार्टी के अध्यक्ष विनोद शर्मा ने चिंता जाहिर करते हुए कहा है कि सरकार ने इस मामले की ठीक से जांच नहीं कराई तथा उसकी मंशा भी सही नहीं है। शर्मा ने कहा कि तीन साल पहले हरियाणा सरकार ने इस मामले की जांच के लिए एक आयोग का गठन किया था तथा आयोग को छह माह में अपनी रिपोर्ट देने को कहा गया था, तीन साल बीत जाने के बाद भी आयोग ने इस मामले में कोई गंभीर काम नहीं किया जिससे दोषियों के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई हो सके। इस आयोग ने तीन साल बर्बाद करने के अलावा कुछ नहीं किया और ये सिख परिवार आज भी न्याय की भीख मांग रहे हैं।
विनोद शर्मा ने कहा है कि इस मामले की जितनी और देरी की जाएगी उतना ही इस केस से जुड़े सबुतों को एकत्रित करना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। जानबूझ कर इस मामले में आयोग द्वारा की जा रही देरी से यह बात पुख़्ता हो रही है कि इस मामले में सरकार गंभीरता नहीं ले रही है, सरकार जांच के लिए आयोग का बार-बार समय बढ़ाती रही और सोची समझी चाल के तहत इस केस के गुनहगारों को सजा नहीं दिलवा रही है।
जनचेतना पार्टी के अध्यक्ष विनोद शर्मा ने कहा है कि 84 के सिख पीडि़तों को न्याय दिलाने के लिए सरकार एक विशेष जांच दल का गठन करे जो न्यायालय के अधीन इस केस की जांच करे या फिर इस मामले की तुरंत सीबीआई जांच कराई जाए ताकि सच्चाई सामने आए और गुनहगारों को सलाखों के पीछे डाला जा सके।
यह सरकार की ज़िम्मेदारी ही नहीं बल्कि एक नैतिक फर्ज है कि वह इस मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पीडि़त सिख परिवारों को न्याय तथा दोषियों को सजा दिलवाए।
Scrap the Haud Chillar commission and hand over the investigation to CBI says Venod Sharma
Chandigarh: 25-07-14. President of Janchetna party and former Union Minister Venod Sharma has demanded immediate scrapping of the Haud Chillar commission and handing over of the investigation to the CBI so that the aggrieved Sikh families gets justice in time.
Writing a letter to the Chief Minister of Haryana, Sharma said that on 2nd November 1984 in the village of Haud Chillar in Rewari district of Haryana, 32 Sikhs were burnt live. For the last thirty years these Sikh families are looking for justice but nothing has been achieved till date. Initially the local police was given the investigation but in spite of all the evidence against the culprits, the police did not act. The culprits used to roam free but the police didn’t do anything. Finally one day it closed the case.
Raising serious doubts on Haryana government’s intentions, Sharma said that three years back the government made a commission to enquire into this incident which was suppose to submit it’s report in six months but even after completion of three years, it has not submitted it’s report. Now the commission has been given another extension but whether it will help in arriving at any conclusion is to be seen. The families of the victims have been deprived from justice.
Pointing fingers on the working of commission, Venod Sharma has said that justice is being delayed purposely so that the evidences are completely finished and the culprits are helped. Venod Sharma has demanded to set up a special investigation team for Haud Chillar tragedy or hand over the investigation to the CBI immediately so that truth comes out before the public and culprits are punished. This is the duty of the government to see and deliver the justice to the victims and that too well in time.
